Some of the themes the director and I talked about while looking for music were “love, loneliness, and isolation”. We first wanted to find pop music that was from the 80s and 90s so it would show the time the main character, Jordan, grew up in. Then we wanted to find more music that represented him as a gay man, so we found more music from queer icons. Responsibilities included making a speaker plot, programming QLab, looping songs, and compiling a pre-show playlist.
